Five contemporary writers embark on a journey to the sites where the action of their books takes place – to the worlds they invented.

Each of them is a weirdo, but in a good sense: they play punk rock, plant gardens, hang out at flea markets, at the same time using their stories to stitch their homeland together. Russia, a country unique in its absurdity and exclusivity, is the field for their experiments. And it is obvious that these adventurers are enjoying the process.
