Solovki. The place of the force

The Solovki has always been mysterious world's end for Russia. At first two monks had chosen the island, difficult for life, in the middle of the White Sea for prayers. They had constructed a skete, which turned over time into the huge monastery which considerably advanced an era on hardware level. Then there was GULAG – laboratory between life and death. In the Soviet Russia was enough and more remote islands and territories abroad of a civilization than the Solovki, but the Soviet heads had chosen this place for some reason. All characters of this film got to the Solovki incidentally and remained here forever. They cannot explain how they went from being tourists to locals, but it is even more difficult to understand also, why they left the cozy cities in Midland and moved to the world's end. The film is an attempt of authors to investigate the unique Force of the place – the Solovetsky islands.
